Faith Statement

" We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is God's Word and the ultimate authority for godly living. We place our faith in Jesus Christ, who is both fully God and fully man, that His atoning death on the cross paid for our sins, and His resurrection from the dead conquered death. Through His grace, we are saved and receive eternal life. We are guided by the Holy Spirit to live a life that honors God. We believe in the oneness of the Body of Christ. We believe in leadership of the Body working in harmony to bring about unity of the faith. We believe in providing support, assistance, and a place and times for churches to come together in fellowship. We also believe in the importance of community, service to others, and sharing the hope of God's kingdom with the world".

 

A Brief history 

 

Light of Christ Ministries was founded in 2015 by Bishop Marvin J Drew, I when he held a conference called Light of Christ Power Conference at Lily of the Valley Deliverance Center.

 

The conference grew each year! First by including Fredericksburg Family Fellowship Church (Fredericksburg, VA) and next the Body of Christ Church (Virginia Beach, VA) joined the fellowship. As this fellowship continued to grow, other churches began to attend the conferences that increased from once to twice annually with financial support and assistance going to each church that joined the fellowship.

 

The name was later adjusted to Light of Christ Fellowship of Churches (LOCFOC).

Our Purpose

 

LOCFOC primary purpose is specified in our name:

​

• To be the Light of Christ in the world through sharing unconditional love, living a life that's pleasing to God, and sharing the good news about Jesus Christ to the lost.

• To be an illuminating source of love and compassion within Body of Christ through fellowship.

• To be the body jointly fit together in unity and oneness through fellowship of churches.

• To be a covenant organization that provides spiritual guidance, spiritual oversight, licensure, and financial support to member churches.

• To be a covenant covering religious organization consisting of bible believing churches that provides leadership helps, ministry building, new churches establishment, financial support and training and development of churches staff

• To help to bring about oneness, fellowship and cooperation amongst Bible-believing churches

• To provide support and training for Christian development to pastors and members.

• To assist churches and the ultimate goal of outreaching of souls
